The Twelve Months of APC

Dear ##[Name | First]##,

Join us as we reflect back on 2019! We're ringing in the new year by highlighting a few of APC's many activities and achievements in 2019...

January

  • APC Council initiates committee SWOT (strengths, weakness, opportunities, threats) analyses to determine priorities and set goals for the next several years. Starting in 2020, this strategic assessment will inform annual meeting programming and committee activities, and will support academic pathology as it enters the next decade!
  • More than thirty abstracts are submitted for the 2019 APC Annual Meeting, which are later published in Academic Pathology. Six top-ranked abstracts receive special acknowledgment at the Awards Lunch in July!
  • The next cohort of Society of ’67 Scholars includes 12 pathology residents and 7 medical students from 18 APC member departments who will attend the APC 2019 Annual Meeting in Boston in July.
