Post-meeting Registration Details

Register for on-demand access to recorded sessions that were simulcast for remote participants via Zoom from July 21-24, 2024 from the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. Recordings of the live sessions are accessible to registrants through the "Recordings" tab above (login required).

The non-refundable post-meeting registration fee is the same as the remote registration fee and includes, for the registered attendee only:

  • access to the majority of the live meeting ballroom sessions that were recorded.
  • if a physician, ability to claim CME through September 30, 2024.

In-Person Event Details

For in-person registrants, events will take place live at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC, from July 21-24, 2024 (Sun-Wed). In-person registrants will need to agree to abide by AAPath's Health and Safety Policy (posted here) before proceeding with registration. The in-person registration fee includes, for the registered attendee only:

  1. Participation in Live Meeting Sessions
  2. CME (separate claim form must be submitted)
  3. Daily breakfasts and lunches, including the Awards Lunch
  4. Receptions on Sunday and Monday

Registration does NOT include:

  1. Badges for spouses/guests
  2. Lodging or travel fees
  3. Enrollment in the Pathology Leadership Academy

Remote Event Details

Live sessions will be simulcast for remote participants via Zoom from July 22-24, 2024 (Mon-Wed) on the dates and times found in the Meeting Program. Remote participants will need to have the technical capabilities to access Zoom in order to fully participate in live sessions broadcast from the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. Remote access instructions will be emailed to all paid registrants. The non-refundable remote registration fee includes, for the registered attendee only:

  1. Participation in Live Meeting Sessions 
  2. CME (separate claim form must be submitted)

Registration does NOT include:

  1. Badges for spouses/guests
  2. Enrollment in the Pathology Leadership Academy

Spouses/Guests

$75

Includes an official guest badge, food and beverage at the Welcome Reception on Sunday and the Awards Lunch on Wednesday. Register your guests by completing the meeting registration form. Each $75.00 fee covers these costs for ONE guest. Not intended for access to meeting sessions and other programmed/scheduled meeting events.
Lapsed Members $300 This fee applies only to employees in departments that are eligible for AAPath membership but are in arrears on their AAPath membership dues.

Cancellation Policy

Remote Registration: The registration fee for remote participation is non-refundable.

In-Person Registration: In-person registrants will have the option to change to remote registration and be credited the difference in pricing as long as requests are submitted in writing by May 31, 2024. No credit will be provided for modifying a registration from in-person to remote after  May 31, 2024, because AAPath will have guaranteed food and beverage for in-person registrants.

Guest Registration Fees: Modifications to your registration can be made as long as requests are submitted in writing by May 31, 2024. No credit will be provided for modifying or canceling a guest registration after May 31, 2024, because AAPath will have guaranteed food and beverage for guest registrants.

AAPath 2024 Annual Meeting Health Protocols

AAPath will not implement any masking, vaccination or testing requirements for in-person registrants, speakers, exhibitors, guests, or staff of the Annual Meeting. However, AAPath expects all participants to respect the general principles of maintaining good health by:  1) respecting the rights of others to wear masks; and 2) voluntarily withdrawing from in-person participation in events, if they are experiencing symptoms of any transmissible disease. Sessions are automatically available online to all in-person registrants and those who withdraw due to symptoms are welcome to participate remotely while self-isolating.

Willful failure to follow AAPath's health and safety protocols may result in involuntary removal from meeting sessions, restriction from participation in future AAPath meetings or suspension of membership in AAPath. Attendees with any questions or concerns about the above policies may visit the registration desk at any time during the meeting.

By registering to attend the 2024 Annual Meeting events in-person, you (and your guest(s), if applicable) agree to abide by AAPath's health and safety protocols for in-person events. In-person registrants, who determine they are unable to abide by AAPath's health and safety protocols for in-person events, have the option to change to remote registration and be credited the difference in pricing on or before May 31, 2024. No credit will be provided for modifying a registration from in-person to remote after May 31, 2024.
