NEW - DEI FACULTY LEADERS NETWORK

The new APC DEI Faculty Leaders Network, which reports to APC’s LD&D Committee, virtually convened with representatives from nearly 40 departments on March 10th. Participants indicated the need for such a network to share experiences, programs, and educational resources that address DEI through the lens of academic pathology departments. Currently, a subgroup of volunteers is developing a brief survey to help identify potential topics of interest and presenters, to determine the frequency of meetings, and to elicit other needs of this new Faculty Leader Network affinity group. Please note that only Chair members can appoint appropriate faculty member(s) to this group. For more information and to add your departmental DEI Faculty Leader to the Network, please go to the APC website at: www.apcprods.org/DEI-Leaders-Network
