APC 2019 ANNUAL MEETING REGISTRATION & PREPARATIONS

Preliminary Section Programs Updated with Session Times! Visit: www.apcprods.org/m-2019-agenda to view, download, and print the “At-A-Glance” preliminary program for your specific Section (Chairs, PRODS, PDAS, UMEDS, GMEAS). Thanks to each Section’s Council, all programs have outstanding line-ups of speakers with timely and relevant content.

Preview the 13 Discussion Group session topics and other “Elective Events” at: www.apcprods.org/m-2019-agenda. Registrants to the APC 2019 Annual Meeting will receive the “Elective Events Survey” directly by email by end of this week so that selections ("sign-ups") will help prepare moderators in knowing their audience, as well as gauge the interest of attendees. Several moderators (via the APC) will be sending pre-meeting surveys later in June so that the data and feedback gathered will help stimulate and enhance the engaging discussions. The Elective Events Survey will be open until Wednesday, June 12th.

Interested in promoting academic pathology to your professional and social networks? Join the APC Social Media Committee in preparation for the #APC19Boston Annual Meeting!

  • VIEW: http://bit.ly/APC19Boston - a brief webinar that presents an overview on the goals of the SoMe Committee, its roles for volunteer members, and simple strategies in Tweeting successfully. Tweet that you've viewed the webinar! Thanks to pathology residents: Dana Razzano, MD (NYMC at WMC) and Yonah Ziemba, MD (Northwell Health).
  • Then, SIGN-UP and volunteer for the APC SoMe Committee during the pre-meeting Elective Events Survey coming soon.
  • Finally, ATTEND the APC SoMe Committee kick-off meeting at 4:00pm (ET) on Sunday, July 21st at the Boston World Trade Center (room location TBD), just prior to the Welcome Reception. At that kick-off meeting, a sign-up list will be available to coordinated coverage on all conference sessions, tracks, and activities for each APC Section: Chairs, PRODS, PDAS, UMEDS, and GMEAS...all members are welcome!

Haven’t registered yet for the APC 2019 Annual Meeting? It’s not too late to register! Visit: www.apcprods.org/m-meetings-2019. The Boston Seaport Hotel is now sold-out! A reservation link for the group room rate of $229 plus taxes (single/double room) at the Westin Waterfront Hotel will be included in your registration confirmation email upon registering for the APC 2019 Annual Meeting. The Westin group rate (which is lower than Seaport rates!) expires on June 27th or when it sells-out, whichever is earlier. Plan to arrive in time for the Welcome Reception on Sunday, July 21st from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. (Eastern). Programming begins Monday morning (July 22nd) and ends Wednesday late afternoon (July 24th) at various times depending on the Section track.
