These presentation recordings were available to view in advance of the Live Online Conference and were not played during the Live Discussion Sessions. Instead, speakers addressed questions about their presentations during the Live Discussions. Live Online Conference attendees were able to submit questions to presenters in advance of the Live Discussions, and these questions are still viewable here. Leadership Development & Diversity Session

Due to the high level of interest and importance of the topic, the Leadership Development & Diversity Session from the APC 2020 Live Online Conference is now available to all, with a spotlight on Dr. Vivian Pinn’s presentation on “Leadership and Diversity in Academic Medicine”. Lessons from Dr. Pinn’s talk were applied by a panel of Chairs, who described their “Departmental Leadership Development” programs at Duke University (Jiaoti Huang, MD, PhD), University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (Jennifer Hunt, MD, now Chair at the University of Florida), Drexel University (Cheryl Hanau, MD), and the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University (Amyn Rojiani, MD), moderated by Dani Zander, MD (University of Cincinnati, Chair of the LD&D Committee). The discussion on Departmental Leadership Development with Dr. Pinn and the panel will continue this fall! More details will be shared with members and registrants as they develop.
